Meet the team: Areej Javed (University of Oulu)

The H2PlasmaRed project introduces Areej Javed (University of Oulu), part of our team with the role of PhD researcher (WP1-3, WP5-7).

As a PhD researcher in the H2PlasmaRed project, Areej is responsible for developing mathematical models that simulate the hydrogen plasma smelting reduction process. Her work includes analyzing reaction kinetics, gas-metal-slag interactions, and integrating plasma dynamics to enhance metal reduction, with an emphasis on validation through experimental data.

Areej Javed is a PhD researcher with a background in chemical engineering and focuses on applying advanced mathematical modeling to improve industrial processes.
