H2PlasmaRed at the Society and Materials (SAM) International Conference 2025 in Madrid, Spain
It was a great opportunity for our colleague, Ekinsu Akdoğan, to present at the Society and Materials (SAM) International Conference at the beginning of this month.
She shared her research on the fundamentals of prospective assessments applied to emerging steel manufacturing pathways – highlighting what is currently missing in existing practices and how integrated assessments can be improved for this scope.
“I’m happy to have delivered the first oral conference presentation of my PhD at SAM19, where I met researchers from diverse backgrounds and had very interesting conversations on LCA, metallurgy, sustainability assessments, and beyond.
I was also happy to reconnect with my old friend Dimitris Pantelakis, as well as other fellow researchers I had met previously—thanks to SAM19.”
As always, we are looking forward to future editions of this conference to reconnect with our inspiring research community!
